Engineering Contractors Inc was established in 1991 to fill the void in the Washington DC market for full service mechanical contractors that self perform all aspects of the Mechanical Trades as far as HVAC and Plumbing work.
Most of the mechanical contractors in Washington DC, and throughout the country only perform one or two aspects of the mechanical trades and must subcontract the rest of the work out to different subcontractors, which usually means multiple project managers and multiple jobsite foremans, and multiple venders which tend to make communication between the General Contractor and Mechanical Sub-Contractor difficult, cumbersome and confusing at best.
At Engineering Contractors Inc. we take the guess work out of trying to figure out where the missing equipment is at, when its going to be on the job, when it was released, where’s the ductman, and when’s the temperature controls subcontractor going to get started.
